January 16, 2013 - Bowling Boys

I received an email for a $5 All-You-Can-Bowl after school special (shoes included)! That kind of sweet deal motivated this mama to pick the boys up from preschool and take them to the lanes.  The manager, Wes, doted on our first timers.  He personally took us over to get our special bowling shoes. He helped the boys select the perfect ball, and he put up "bumpers" for us.  Not having the pressure of a time limit, the boys learned how to go to the line, hold the ball, the concept of two chances to get the pins down, turn taking, and how happy Mom got when the X appeared on the screen :) Corn dogs and a milkshake were also a hit!
