October 14, 2012 - Face Painting for Mommy

Uptown Whittier hosted its 7th annual Dia de los Muertos event. The energy was high and Greenleaf was lined with booths selling everything related to this Mexican holiday that focuses on praying for and remembering ancestors who have passed.  I was super jazzed about getting my face painted like an esqueleto a la Frida Kahlo style.  Leah and the kids met up with us later.  Two more gals decided to get face painted :)
