May 19, 2012 -" Kiddie K" Fun Run

We skipped karate and swim lessons to participate in the "Kiddie K" Fun Run.  I couldn't help but flashback to two years ago when they last participated.  The boys were still using pacifiers, and I was pushing them in the double stroller.   This time around, I was racing after Anthony who took off like a bullet behind the other kids.  Little Daniel, on the other hand, did just the opposite.  He walked the 1/4 mile with his dad since he clearly was not too thrilled with the hustle and bustle or the large crowd.  I loved that every kid's number was #1 and that a medal  was bestowed upon each by a police officer at the finish line.  After the race, we toured the police department, checked out some of the health fair booths, saw a K9 presentation, and ended our day with some bounce house fun.
