Days don't always turn out the way we plan them; holidays are no exception! We had planned on avoiding the Valentine dinner insanity by having a Valentine lunch at Portofinos. Service was beyond slow, little Daniel was sinking in his chair due to a cold he wasn't totally over, and my patience was waning fast. We decided to leave and before we were two blocks down the road, our heavy-lidded son was out. Pland B: Eat leftovers and enjoy the chocolate cake I made. Our Valentine's Day Take Two will have to be in San Francisco ;)
