September 25, 2010 - Ask and Ye Shall Receive.....Parents Rock!
I've never been one to ask people for things; it goes against the grain of who I am. However, our school budget has been stretched so thin, that I swallowed my pride and mentioned to parents at Back-to-School night that donations of Clorox wipes and copy paper would be greatly appreciated. Thank God for a wide enough throat, because donations have been pouring in daily. Their generosity is even more appreciated considering the state of the economy! In five days since asking, Room 3 has received: 1 huge ream of paper, 3 canisters of Clorox wipes, 2 pkgs. of dry erase markers, highlighters, and glue sticks. My kiddos' parents rock :)

Great news! Everyone knows how stretched the school are, Lin- the parents want to make it happen for their kids. Jul's school is already onto its 2nd fundraiser of the year, and the big auction & bbq bash is in a few weeks.
