It may be hard to believe, but Daniel nor I have ever made a ginger bread house. In theory, this was going to be an extremely fun 1st with the kids. It was fun to see the great smiles on the boys faces, but the clean up left something to be desired. Who knew this house would take the skill of an architect to build? Dan the Builder put it together with some help of Mommy the Icing Maker gluing the panels. As we did this, the boys enjoyed tranforming into professional icing eating twins. Note to self: Listen to Leah and buy the pre-assembled house and just decorate.

October 17, 2010 - Baking With One of My Besties
While Daddy Daniel was painting and Little Daniel was sleeping, Mommy and Anthony baked some cupcakes for the E.W.M.S staff. Chocolate any day is a treat, but on a Monday it is especially sweet! What an awesome helper ;)

October 16, 2010 - Boo!

Daniel has been in house projects mode lately. In order for today's project to happen, the kids and I needed to scram. Auntie Leah, being the bestie that she is, invited us to mesh our clans. The original plan was to have a very low key day with perhaps some baking of Halloween goodies. Flexible gals that we are and ones who are always up to do fun things, dressed up our kids up and headed out to the pumpkin patch by her house. No baking today but dozens of smiles from the buns once in our ovens.

October 1, 2010 Adventures in Potty Training
After a couple of not so pleasant #2 incidents, we've slowly embarked upon the adventure of potty training. The boys are both definitely showing the signs of readiness: discomfort wearing soiled diapers, announcing they are "caca," etc. Daniel bought them Toy Story pull ups to match the Toy Story potty we'd purchased a while back. He even bought Toy Story and Cars big boy underwear with the hopes that this will make our adventure less painful. May the Force be with us :)
